Is the season on in the high desert?
Well, kind-of. More tourists than climbers are passing through the ancient stones in Josh this time of year. A few friends and I managed to squeeze in a trip right before the Government Shut-Down and were blessed with new growth and GRANITE! Lucky for us we had every line to ourself and hardly saw another climber.
Stay hydrated, seek shade, climb classics and avoid most slab climbs. Temps were mid 80’s in the day and the season is approaching. Mainly landscape shots here, however the two climbing images are:

Timbo also sending a rad 5.10a in Echo.
